Thanks to a long on-stage activity, Bluestones sound and compositions evolved considerately in the subsequent years, resulting in “Groupie”, Bluestones’ new record, registered in one week in August 2017 with Alessio Mauro at LM Recording Studio. The concept of the groupie is an archetype for the Music itself in every possible shade and behaviour. “Groupie” is made by 11 songs whose mood changes from grunge to stoner, from 90’s alternative rock to swing, resulting into an introspective journey influenced and permeated in every track by breathtaking darkness and melodic cruelty. In this record the whole band focused on carefully and meticulously choosing sonorities and frequencies, in order to create a recognisable sonic imprint into listener’s ears.
